Last week the RSA tradeshow took place in San Francisco. This event attracts over 50.000 people from around the globe to learn about the latest developments in cybersecurity. I was talking with a customer at the tradeshow and all at a sudden a man interrupted us: his laptop was stolen from his booth…unlocked…at a cybersecurity tradeshow! Irony oh irony! Being a developer of very complex cybersecurity solutions, he forgot to protect his IP on the most basic level. Sometimes we are so focused on the complex, that we forget about the most simple fundamentals!
