Day 12 LVMH

LVMH, the world’s biggest luxury conglomerate, decided that perfume facilities will switch over to hand sanitizer which will be given to French health authorities and hospitals free of charge. The project came together at lightning speed, only 72 hours after the French government issued a call to industry to help fill gaps of key medical supplies as the spread of the virus accelerated.

LVMH also managed to secure an order with a Chinese supplier for a delivery of 10 million masks in France. The order will be repeated for at least four weeks in similar quantities. In order to secure this order and to ensure that production begins today, Bernard Arnault arranged for LVMH to finance the whole of the first week of deliveries, amounting to five million euros.

My question for you: What can your company do to help society?
