Day 20 HelloFresh

HelloFresh, the leading meal kit company, has witnessed in a considerable increase in demand as Coronavirus lockdowns prompt more people to cook at home. Their business is doing great but they realize that now, more than ever they have to take care of their employees, In the US they do so by increasing wages, enhancing the sick time policy and providing full compensation for any employee who must stay at home.

The German based company also gives back to the community. Since January 2020, they’ve donated more than 800,000 meals. During this time, HelloFresh customers have donated an additional 30,000 meals. Julius Randle and Bobby Portis of the New York Knicks, the New York basketball team, teamed up with HelloFresh to donate $180,000 worth of meals to City Harvest “to help feed New Yorkers who are struggling.

We also started to use HelloFresh since the stay at home order and we love it!
