Day 22 Tiense Suiker

Tiense Suiker, a sugar refinery based in Belgium, is one of the few companies that can continue production as they are an essential business. Although demand for sugar is exploding, the company has decided to shift a part of their production to manufacture hand sanitizers. The hand sanitizer will be given to hospitals and health authorities free of charge and will also be used to protect their own employees.

It is a very nice way for the company to do its part to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

Other companies such as LVMH and L'Oréal have also been using their manufacturing facilities to produce bottles of hand sanitizer.
