Day 43 HPE


Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has signed the Open Covid Pledge, granting free access to all of its patented technologies for the purpose of diagnosing, preventing, containing and treating Covid 19. Organizations are now free to use HPE technology without worrying about HPE’s patents. They are free to use and combine them with their own technologies to create solutions to combat the disease.


The company from Palo Alto, Silicon Valley is already helping organizations around the world to fight the pandemic with their breakthrough technologies. Their supercomputing and AI technologies are helping researchers, their Wi-Fi technology is essential for quickly establishing pop-up clinics and cryo-electron microscopy has the power to shorten the time to drug discovery and development.


In times like these HP believes that cooperation is more important than competition. Hopefully, many other innovators will follow…
