Day 78 Europe Shines a Light

For the first time ever, the annual singing competition Eurovision has been cancelled. The 2020 edition was supposed to take place in Rotterdam, the Netherlands in May. The organizers decided to host an alternative television show, with video performances from past and present participants.

The two-hour-long show was watched by 73 million viewers across 38 countries. The makers succeeded to celebrate what Eurovision stands for and created a sense of unity across borders.
