I hope you enjoyed the holidays and that you are full of energy and enthusiasm to get back to work. The beginning of a new year is the perfect time to reflect on the previous one and prepare for future success.
Before blazing into 2022, take a few moments and think about what you want to start doing, continue doing and stop doing.
Things you want to STOP doing
Are there time wasters or energy drainers in your life? What creates negative energy and brings little results? Now is the time to leave those behind in 2021.
Things you want to START doing
Where do you see new opportunities? Do you want to enter a new region, launch a new product, do things differently, or learn a skill that brings you closer to your goals?
Things you want to CONTINUE doing
What worked well? What are you good at, and what do you enjoy? Think about what gives you energy, and make sure you integrate it into your plans for the new year.
You can use this exercise to evaluate meetings you held, travels you did, tradeshows you attended, marketing campaigns you launched, memberships you paid... It is a powerful and efficient way to plan for the year ahead.
I am wishing you and your loved ones a beautiful and bright 2022.
Greetings from Silicon Valley,
